Andrew Mitchell MP has joined fundraisers from one of Sutton’s favourite charities out and about on the streets of Sutton Coldfield helping to raise money for the Norman Laud Association.
Andrew, who is President of the Norman Laud Association, met with Community Fundraiser Emma Holding (pictured here) and other volunteers in the Mall where the charity was raising money by selling Alexandra Rose Day flowers.
The Norman Laud Association, established over 45 years ago in Sutton Coldfield, provides nursery provision and respite care for children and young adults with special needs.
During his visit Mr Mitchell encouraged other shoppers in the Mall to help raise much needed funds by purchasing an Alexandra Day rose.
Andrew Mitchell MP said, “As President of the Norman Laud Association I am pleased to see the strength of support that the charity continues to receive from the people of Sutton.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank not only the volunteers who are here today, but all those who are involved with this wonderful charity.”
